John Rutherford was one of Scotland’s most gifted stand-off’s, winning 42 Caps in a career that stretched from 1979-1987. Rutherford also toured with the British and Irish Lions to New Zealand in 1983. before playing in the inaugural World Cup, also in New Zealand in 1987.
