| THE PRA Benevolent Fund benefited from an auction at a 6 Nations Rugby Review event held by independent private equity firm August Equity in London.
TV presenter Mark Durden-Smith hosted a question-and-answer session with Will Greenwood, with guests having the chance to quiz the World Cup winner on England’s performance in the tournament.
The auction of two shirts and prints signed by legends of the game raised £750 for the PRA Benevolent Fund.
Andrew Hartley, managing partner of August Equity, said: ‘The team at August Equity are keen rugby fans and are proud to have supported the PRA Benevolent Fund. They do tireless work in helping players who have sustained serious injury in the sport to adjust to life without playing rugby.’
PRA Chief Executive Damian Hopley said: ‘We are extremely grateful to August Equity for donating the money raised from the auction to the PRA Benevolent Fund, which relies on such generosity.’
