Alex Anderson - Welfare Manager

Alex joined the PRA in September 2000. He is responsible for the implementation and delivery of the welfare services available to members. These include:

Accessing legal advice for members on all rugby employment issues through the PRA Legal panel
Managing and advising members on all PRA Insurance Services as follows:
PRA/PRL Personal Accident Scheme
Critical Illness Policy
Rugby Retirees Medical Insurance
Scheme Overseeing the Career Education Programme
Managing the Financial Services available for members including tax advice and financial planning
Developing the Player Services programme for members to provide them with access to exclusive special offers and supplier deals.

Alex is heavily involved with the 3 year Player Burnout project commissioned in January 2005 and sits on the Steering Group with representatives from the RFU and Premier Rugby. Alex also assists with elements of the Team England Account, all Benevolent Fund activities and provides support to the Chief Executive with the general management of the Association.
