Bill Page

Bill is an experienced business leader who has held a variety of senior management posts within the wine and spirit industry and associated organisations.  Until recently he was Chairman of Mentzendorff & Co. Ltd., the UK distributors for Bollinger Champagne, Taylor’s Ports and a range of leading wine brands. He was Managing Director of Mentzendorff from 2001 to 2004 and before that a partner and Managing Director of Ehrmanns Group PLC from 1991 to 2001.  Ehrmanns is one of Britain’s leading wine suppliers to major retailers and wholesale groups. In the late 1980’s he was Managing Director of Grant’s of St. James’s Wine Division.  He currently acts as a specialist consultant within the wine and spirit trade and also operates as a business mentor.

Although a widely experienced general manager his specialist skills lie in the areas of marketing, sales and human resources.  He is an experienced negotiator of contracts and agreements.

Bill is a member of the Board of the Wine & Spirit Education Trust and was Chairman of The Wine & Spirit Trades’ Benevolent Society in 2000/2001.

He is a member of High Wycombe R.U.F.C. and a Trustee Governor of the Royal Grammar School High Wycombe – one of England’s leading rugby schools.
